WHICH HAIR PRODUCT IS BEST FOR ME?
Choosing a hair styling product is very subjective and a matter of personal taste. All of our hair styling products are water-based, so they are easy to apply and easy to wash out completely at the end of the day.
We currently offer six different styling products based on hold and shine.
Each of our hair styling products is available in a standard size and a 2 oz travel-friendly size.
Here’s a quick summary of our styling products and the best uses for them:
- Strongest hold, low shine. Works great on thicker hair. Best for side parted styles, slicked back looks, and pompadours. Applies smoothly and dries heavy.
- Medium hold, high shine. Works on all hair types and styles. Easily pliable and re-styleable, great for the “wet” look.
- Strong hold, high shine. Use on its own or as a base for other styling products. Dries lightweight, hardens into hair, does not flake or melt, and great for adding volume to hair. Great for all hair types and styles, especially in hot weather and/or high activity.
- Medium-light hold, no shine. Works best with thinner hair and for a textured natural look. Dries lightweight and naturally.
- Medium-strong hold, low shine. Works best with salt & pepper hair and darker hair color. Enhances dark hair color and covers up to 60% of gray hairs. Works best with most hair types and styles. Has a black tint that applies easily, washes out easily, and does not stain hands.
- Light hold, medium shine. Works for all hair types. Best for loose styles, managing flyaway hairs, and the au naturel look and feel.
WHICH SHAVE PRODUCTS SHOULD I USE?
Here’s the IMPERIAL FIVE-STEP SHAVE SYSTEM as a guide to our shave products:
- WASH FACE: Rid face of dirt & grime with the GLYCERIN FACE/SHAVE SOAP and warm water.
- PREP THE BEARD: Apply one full droplet of PRE-SHAVE OIL & BEARD CONDITIONER and massage onto wet beard. Acts as a conditioner & protective barrier between face and blade.
- LATHER UP: Use GLYCERIN FACE/SHAVE SOAP or our FIELD SHAVE SOAP CANISTER to create lather with hands or our SHAVE BRUSH and massage onto moist beard.
- SHAVE: Use your preferred razor with warm water. (We highly recommend using a double-edged safety razor or a straight razor)
- AFTER-SHAVE: Rinse face with cool water. To close pores and restore balance, apply BERGAMOT AFTER-SHAVE. To lock in moisture and maintain that fresh shaved feeling, apply AFTER-SHAVE BALM & FACE MOISTURIZER.
DOES IMPERIAL OFFER SAMPLES?

THE PRODUCT I'M LOOKING FOR IS OUT OF STOCK. WHEN WILL IT BE IN STOCK? AND HOW CAN I BE NOTIFIED?
Usually, when our products are out of stock, they can take anywhere from 6-8 weeks to be back in stock. Our products are created in small batches and must pass a quality control test every time before we can get them out to our customers to ensure that our products perform well consistently. We do our best to get the product back in stock as soon as possible, but things out of our control sometimes happen, so please bear with us if it does happen to take a bit longer – we just want to make sure that you’re receiving a quality product every single time.

ARE IMPERIAL PRODUCTS VEGAN-FRIENDLY/CRUELTY-FREE?
All of our products are vegan-friendly with the exception of our 3:1 COMPLETE HAIR & BODY WASH.
We also do not test our products on animals; we test our products on ourselves and our customers in the barbershop to ensure they perform at their best.

PAYMENT INFORMATION & ISSUES
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express) and PayPal as valid forms of payment.
If your card is being declined, please check your billing address and ensure you have the correct information – this is the usually the cause of cards not going through on our website.
If you are located in the United States and your shipping costs are unexpectedly high, check your shipping and billing address before checking out to make sure you have selected UNITED STATES as your country and NOT UNITED STATES OUTLYING MINOR ISLANDS.
Orders placed before 3 p.m. PT typically process and ship the same day. Orders placed after 3 p.m., on weekends, and holidays typically ship the following business day.
If you’re located anywhere outside of the Contiguous United States – such as APO/DPO/FPO addresses, PO Boxes, Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, or Europe – orders will typically process the same day, but ship the following the business day due to USPS pickup times.
While we do our best to get orders out the same day, we have a very small team here. It may take up to 72 hours to completely process and fulfill your order. Please contact us immediately if your order hasn’t been processed after 72 hours.
Orders shipping to California are subject to an 8% sales tax.
ALL ORDERS OVER $50 (BEFORE SHIPPING AND TAXES) ARE ELIGIBLE FOR FREE GROUND SHIPPING IN THE 48 CONTIGUOUS UNITED STATES (NO HI, AK, APO/FPO/DPO) AUTOMATICALLY. For all other free shipping promotions/offers, you must input the coupon code to receive free shipping. All free shipping promos/offers apply only to the 48 Contiguous United States – no exceptions.
Most orders ship out the same business day if placed before 3 p.m. PST. All orders placed after 3 p.m. PST, on weekends, and on holidays will ship out the following business day.
Once an order has shipped and left our warehouse, we absolutely cannot make any changes to it. Contact us before 3 p.m. PST if you need to make any changes on orders placed the same day.
We ship most orders in the Contiguous US and Canada using FedEx Ground.
Orders going to Hawaii, Alaska, APO/FPO/DPO, P.O. boxes, and most international orders ship through USPS. Orders shipping through USPS may take an additional business day for processing and shipping.

TO CALCULATE SHIPPING COSTS: Place an item in the cart and click “Calculate Shipping” in the checkout window.
TO ESTIMATE TRANSIT TIME: Visit the FedEx Ground Transit Information page and use 90720 as the origin ZIP/postal code.
PLEASE TYPE YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS CAREFULLY AND CORRECTLY. Typos or incorrect information can result in a package being undeliverable (see: UNDELIVERED ORDERS below), incorrect shipping costs (i.e. selecting US Minor Outlying Islands instead of United States), or processing delays. Typing in your address correctly ensures your order arrives safely and on time.
Please include special delivery instructions (i.e. gate code, floor number) in the Order Notes.
Unfortunately, we can’t fulfill every delivery instruction request on our end, such as throwing your package over your backyard’s barbed wire fence or leaving it in the 3rd bush from the left of the 2nd front window from the right. You will have to contact the delivery courier and arrange that with them. We highly recommend shipping packages to your nearest FedEx store or facility (or local post office if the address is located in HI, AK, APO/FPO, or international) if package theft is a concern. You will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number as soon as your order is fully processed and shipped out. If you don’t receive it, please contact us.
LOCAL PICKUP (SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA ONLY)
We do not have a will call option on our website at this time. However, you may purchase products directly at our Los Alamitos, CA office during normal business hours.

UNDELIVERED ORDERS (STOLEN, LOST, HELD, DAMAGED)
We ship orders to the shipping address provided. Typos or errors in the supplied address may cause the shipment to be undeliverable.
Packages that cannot be delivered may be held or discarded by the carrier or returned to IMPERIAL INDUSTRIES, INC. at the carrier’s sole discretion.
IMPERIAL INDUSTRIES, INC. is not liable for packages that are stolen, held, discarded, or lost in transit. You may request to re-ship a returned package to a corrected address. Standard shipping charges will apply to all requests for re-shipment.
Packages re-shipped as a result of being stolen or damaged may require a signature on delivery or may be sent to the nearest FedEx or post office location to the shipping address.
We ship our items to most (but not all) countries outside of the United States. Just be aware that shipping costs will be higher and all free shipping promotions and coupon codes are not applicable to orders shipping outside the Contiguous United States.
Your country may charge customs taxes and fees for imported items. Please contact your local government agency for details on these fees.
We cannot ship to locations that provide freight forwarding services at this time since we will be unable to verify the final destination of the order with the courier. Any orders shipping to a freight forwarding address will be cancelled and refunded within 5-7 business days.
We typically ship international orders with USPS. Please contact us for questions or special shipping requests.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES
We handle returns & exchanges on a case-by-case basis and our goal is to satisfy our customers.
We stand behind our products and want customers to be satisfied with them. We’ll always do our best to take care of our customers and help you with your grooming needs.
If you purchased Imperial Barber Products from a retailer or online store other than the official Imperial Barber Products web store, please contact the retailer directly.
We accept returns within 30 days of ordering only if the product is unopened with the original seals on it and with a valid receipt or order number from our webstore.
Any return requests after 30 days is dealt with on a case-by-case basis; returns past 30 days typically will be subject to a 15% restocking fee and must be unopened with the original seals. We cannot guarantee return requests past 30 days of ordering from our online store.
If returning a product, please ensure the product is packed securely to prevent damage in transit. We are not liable for products damaged in transit and any damaged products received will be returned to the sender.
